OLIVE TREE NEAR FOURFOURAS, rollerball pen, sketchbook Crete, 2009. This is a very special place up in the mountains of Crete. There is no other noise but chirping of cicadas and a wind rushing through the leaves. Once in a while sheep lumber nearby. It's like being in a time machine. Biblically! The olive grove is full of mighty trees. Every single one has its own character and its special challenge for me as a drawer. Impatience is at such a place not a problem anymore.

One of the best rollerball pen I use is a TOMBOW pen. The rollerball hurries very fast over the paper, follows your hand very easily and needs no pressure at all - especially if the pen has a certain weight like this one:
